Client Services, Payments & Refunds Policy

BizChefs provides bespoke digital engineering and creative services across four primary categories:

Published starting prices are indicative minimums for specific baseline packages and do not represent a universal commitment to deliver every bespoke specification at that price.

Every bespoke build follows a structured, milestone-driven delivery process:

1. Scoping & Proposal: Initial requirements capture, architectural outline, fixed-price or milestone proposal, and SOW issuance.
2. Project Kickoff: Agreement execution, deposit confirmation, and repository/environment provisioning.
3. Design & Prototyping: Visual system establishment, interface layouts, and stakeholder review.
4. Engineering & Integration: Frontend development, backend APIs, analytics integration, and automated test passes.
5. Quality Assurance & Client Review: Staging deployment, cross-device testing, accessibility audits, and client feedback cycles.
6. Deployment & Handover: Production DNS migration, asset delivery, administrative handover, and care plan initiation.

To ensure engineering capacity and transparent project momentum, project fees are typically structured in milestones:

• Starter Projects (< $1,500): 50% deposit upon contract signing; 50% final balance upon client approval prior to production handover.
• Comprehensive Builds ($1,500 – $10,000): 40% deposit, 30% upon design approval/staging demo, 30% upon final acceptance before launch.
• Large Systems ($10,000+): Scheduled monthly sprints or deliverables-based milestone tranches detailed in the applicable SOW.

Invoices are payable within 14 calendar days of issuance unless an alternative term is agreed in writing. BizChefs accepts verified electronic bank wire transfers and authorized payment processors.

We recognize that digital products evolve during development. Each project includes designated revision rounds specified in the SOW (typically two structured review rounds per phase).

Requests that introduce new integrations, fundamental architectural changes, or substantial additional page layouts are handled through a written Change Request Form. We provide a transparent scope and fee estimate before commencing any out-of-scope work.

Timely delivery requires collaboration. Clients are responsible for supplying necessary brand assets, copywriting, API keys, credentials, and written feedback in a timely manner. Project delivery schedules are automatically extended by any period of client delay.

Our monthly website care plans (Essential $100/mo, Growth $250/mo, Scale $500/mo) are month-to-month or annual service arrangements.

• Billing Cycle: Billed at the start of each service period.
• Cancellation Notice: Either party may cancel care services with 14 calendar days' written notice prior to the next billing cycle.
• Unused Hours: Support hours included in care plans do not roll over across calendar months unless expressly confirmed in writing.

Direct third-party subscription fees (such as domain registrations, cloud hosting, transactional email tiers, premium SaaS plugins, or font licences) are billed directly to the client unless bundled into a custom managed retainer. BizChefs assists with technical account setup under the client's ownership.

We aim for fairness, transparency, and clear accountability when projects are terminated early:

• Client Cancellation Prior to Work Commencing: If a client cancels an engagement before engineering or design discovery has started, the deposit is refunded minus any non-recoverable direct costs (such as domain purchases or third-party licences incurred).
• Cancellation During Active Milestones: If an engagement is terminated mid-project, BizChefs will bill only for verified completed work and hours incurred up to the termination date. Any unearned portion of a deposit will be promptly refunded.
• Deliverables Upon Termination: Subject to full payment for work completed, BizChefs will transfer all work-in-progress code and assets to the client.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived under Egypt's Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 or applicable mandatory local laws. Bespoke software and customized creative works developed to individual client specifications are subject to statutory exceptions for custom-made goods once development has commenced with client consent.
